Heute konnte ich auf meinem HTC Hero kurz in den Benachrichtigungen die Meldung in der erkennen das das 1 Update verfügbar sei.
Voller Freude klickte ich auf die Benachrichtigung und kam prompt in den Android Market, wo wieder nichts von dem erhofftem ROM-Update zu sehen war 
Hat jemand von euch schon das ROM-Update bekommen das für diese Tage angekündigt ist?

Der Sommer ist da, wenn schon nicht im Garten oder im Kopf – so zumindest am Kopf. Das spart jede Menge Haarshampoo und die Kosten für einen professionelle Bearbeitung der Haare 
Der Sohn ist begeistert und hätte gern auch einen solchen Zustand am Kopf…..

Now here a translated version of my post to tethering with the HTC Hero:
With the follwing instructions, you can use his Hero HTC as a modem.
(These instruction comes from here)
The installation on Win XP runs as follows:
(maybe the described label names are not exactly named as here mentioned – i dont have a english Windows XP to check this)1. Either you have the HTCSync tool already installed and the drivers already in place, then you continue on Item 3
2. if not, install the HTCSync tool.
3. connect your Hero with the PC.
4. On HERO/G2 go to Settings -> Wireless.
5. Tap the very bottom of „mobile network sharing.“
6. On the PC, now comes the hardware installation window
7. A click on „no, not this time“ -> Next.
8. A click on „driver from a specific location“ -> Next.
9. choose the option „use other sources“ and specify the path to the driver -> Next.
10. when the driver has been installed you are connected via your Hero
I’ve tried it with Windows 7 and it works fine. There only one thing to be careful: When you connect your Hero with your PC, you should not active the the USB conncetion. When the hero is connected with the USB-cable, then the menu item „Mobile network share“ is no longer grayed and can be activated.
